The Dixie Center

The Dixie Center hosts many of the area’s biggest indoor events, including What Women Want, the Dickens Festival, the Jubilee of Trees, and the Huntsman World Senior Games. It is also a hub for many government meetings. Click here for more information.
Directions: Take State Route 9 to I-15 South. Get off at the Bluff Street exit and turn right onto Convention Center Drive. The Dixie Center is only 12 miles from Coral Ridge.

Downtown Thursday Night

Downtown Thursday Night is a free community event in St. George that provides a fun environment for residents and tourists. Vendor booths line the streets selling arts, crafts and food all to the tune of a live band. Many of the stores on Main Street stay open late. The event takes place on Main Street every Thursday night from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Click here for more information.
Directions: Take State Route 9 to I-15 South. Get off on the St. George Boulevard exit and make a left onto Main Street. Parking is not available on Main Street, so it is advisable to park along one of the side streets surrounding Main. Downtown Thursday Night is about 10 miles from Coral Ridge.

Huntsman World Senior Games

The Huntsman World Senior Games is an international senior sports competition allowing men and women ages 50 and over to play in a competitive environment. The games also provide health screenings for diseases including cancer, glaucoma, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. There are also a number of concerts, dances and awards socials. Red Rock Film Festival

The Red Rock Film Festival features movies targeting many different audiences: seniors, alternative sports, young filmmakers, families, college students and many different cultures. The festival accepts both shorts and full-length features. The Red Rock Film Festival prides itself on giving exposure to independent filmmakers, promoting a positive and competitive environment, and bringing entertainment to moviegoers. Saturday Night Alright

Saturday Night Alright takes place in Kayenta at Coyote Gulch Art Village every Saturday night. The event runs from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Coyote Gulch Courtyard. This is a free event that features live music. Xetava Gardens is on the grill serving food, beer and wine all night. Click here for more information.
Directions: Take State Route 9 to I-15 South. Get off at the St. George Boulevard exit and turn right onto St. George Boulevard. Turn right on Bluff Street and left onto Sunset Boulevard, which turns into Old US-91 after about 5 miles. Continue for another 3 miles and turn right onto Kayenta Parkway. Coyote Gulch Art Village is about 20 miles from Coral Ridge.

St. George Art Festival

The St. George Art Festival is an annual event that is 28 years running. The festival draws both local and regional artists and is one of the biggest annual events in St. George. St. George Marathon

The St. George Marathon begins in the Pine Valley mountains and goes 26 miles and descends 2,600 feet into downtown St. George’s Vernon Worthen Park. The St. George Marathon has been rated by Runner's World as one of the four "Marathons to Build a Vacation Around" in the world and was included in Runner`s World 10 Most Scenic and Fastest Marathons and Top 20 Marathons in the USA. The St. George Marathon is a point-to-point race which is USA Track & Field Certified & Sanctioned. Runner`s World listed the St. George Marathon as the fastest fall marathon. Directions: Take State Route 9 to I-15 South and get off at the St. George Boulevard exit. Turn right onto St. George Boulevard and then turn right on Bluff Street. Continue on Bluff Street for 25 miles. Turn right onto Pine Valley Road and drive into Pine Valley for about 8 miles. Please see website for current year’s specific meeting place. Pine Valley is about 43 miles from Coral Ridge.

St. George Rodeo

The Dixie Lions Round-up rodeo usually takes place during the second week of September at the Sun Bowl in St. George. This rodeo has been approved by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association. It is organized each year by the St. George Lions Club. For more information, call the St. George Lions Club at 435-652-1330.
Directions: Take State Route 9 to I-15 South and get off at the St. George Boulevard exit. Turn right onto St. George Boulevard and then turn left on 400 East. The Sun Bowl is about 4 blocks down. The Sun Bowl is about 10 miles from Coral Ridge.

Zion Canyon Farmers Market

The Zion Canyon Farmers Market is held each year from spring to fall in Springdale at the Bit and Spur Restaurant. Click here for more information.
Directions: Turn right onto State Route 9 towards Zion National Park. Stay on State Route 9 through Hurricane. In LaVerkin, you will have to turn right to stay on State Route 9. The total trip is about 30 miles.
